Grand Mosque - Abu Dhabi

The company completed in 2007 with absolute success the most important work of the last 50 years in the marble sector worldwide, the Grand Mosque of Abu Dhabi (also known as Sheik Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque) in the United Arabic Emirates.
More than 100.000 tons of first quality snow-white SIVEC EXTRA marble was processed. Artefacts with special Muslim designs as well as huge Merlons that are surrounding the courtyard had to be designed and to be cut into size using high tech machinery (like CNC’s, Waterjets etc.). The total value of this tremendous project was more than 42.000.000 USD.   The work was completed within the forecasted time of delivery (2005 - 2007) with almost no delay.
